The story of Rachel Lowe is an interesting one, and something that we could show clips of in the Game Design core reading element - or perhaps interview her for. She thought up a game called Destination: London and presented it to Dragon's Den. The game was based on being a taxi driver around the city of London (I think), but was turned down for investment by the dragons. Not deterred, she went ahead and got it produced, and it was a success. She's now brought it out in countries all over the world. I'd love to know how she designed and developed the game.
