Some good ideas here.. I would love to see the diagrams close up. A way of representing the design thinking/the design process which is non linear would be good. What is interesting is that we were limited in the model we created by the resources available, i.e. because we used 2D resources our model is flat and linear, even though our intention was not that. On the other hand this 2D simplification has helped to seperate out the strands in the design rope so that they can be weaved together again in a more meaningful way. Maybe then there is an argument for representing the structure of the course in different ways as we progress through it, so that the students come to understand that different models are useful at different times.
