Cross-Camel Meeting via Elluminate: 21st April 2010
A follow-up Cross-Cluster Meeting took place via Elluminate. This provided an opportunity to follow-up actions identified from the last meeting and to discuss what forms of collaboration this cross-cluster group could explore. The Open University presented some examples from the Atelier-D Project to showcase some early indications of effective use of technology. It was suggested that some future Elluminate sessions were to take place where other projects can present some examples from their projects.

EXPLORE, BUILD AND MAP WORKSHOP
The above workshop hosted by the ATELIER-D project took place on Thursday 1st October 2009.
It brought together a group of people working on other projects within the OU which share similar interests around Web 2.0 tools and Open Educational Resources. Representatives came from projects like OLnet, Cloudworks, OpenLearn, Learning Design, iSpot, Virtual MPhil, along with people from the Technology and Education Research Group (TERG) and Knowledge Media Institute (KMI).
The workshop provided an opportunity for people to explore and forge connections across other OU projects. There was lots on interaction through the creation of mood-boards that acted as a powerful, but playful visual brainstorming platform. Some interesting themes and models emerged that are currently being discussed on the TERGOU Group Forum on ning.com, where photos from the workshop can be seen. (Currently this is only open by invitation).
You can also read a series of 3 live posts written during the workshops on the OCHRE blog and a critical reflection from Giselle Ferreira centered around the theme of playing with boundaries.
